Welcome to Nonstop Appalachian Trail

My name is Ethan, and I’ll be going by Nonstop on the trail. Follow along as I embark on a flip-flop hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2024. After years of dreaming of this hike and months of preparation, I am eager to get out on the trail. This hike is part of my Bowden Fellowship, “The People of the Trail: Tracing Motivations Through Time on the Appalachian Trail,” so along the way, I will be interviewing fellow hikers about their motivations for thru-hiking. I am excited to begin this journey, and I look forward to sharing it here with all of you.
